In 2006, there are two students of IIT, Delhi – Ananad Dodd and Gaurav Mishra launched India’s most popular search engines which named is Guruji.com.

They established this search engine by receiving a fund around 7 million dollars from the US Funding company – Secolia Capitals. Due to some, it shut down at end of 2011.

Rediff is an Indian search engine which has been working since 1996. The headquarter of Rediff in Mumbai (Maharastra). Basically, it is an Indian news, entertainment, and shopping website.  

In 2007, the Rediff ishare launched a multimedia platform and in 2012 it launched Android App.

Bilsir.com is the popular Search Engine in India. In which you can search for information, entertainment, and service related to the Hotel, Music, Shopping, Jobs, many more. Bilsir search engine was established in 2011. It allows us to search separately as well as combine results.

7.    Epic Search

The Epic Search is much-advanced search engines and works quite well. It was launched by Alok Bhardwaj in 2010 and he also launched Epic Browser which is based on privacy-centric.
