Are you a blogger? Do you want to write blog posts that rank high in search engines? If yes, this post is for you. In this post, I’m going to share 13 tips on how to write an SEO-friendly article.
1.
1. Do Your Keyword
Research:
Once you know who your target audience
is, it’s time to do some keyword research. Keyword research is the process of
finding the right keywords that you can rank for in search engines. There are a
lot of tools available for keyword research.
My personal favorite is Google Keyword Planner.
To use Google Keyword Planner, you need to have a Google Ads account. Don’t
worry, you don’t need to spend any money on ads. You can just sign up for a
free account.
Once you have a Google Ads account, go
to Keyword Planner and click on “Search for new keywords using a phrase,
website, or category.” Enter your target audience and some relevant keywords.
For example, if you are targeting women over 50, you might enter “women’s
fashion over 50” or “dressing for work after 50.”
Google will then show you a list of
related keywords. These are the keywords that you should target. Choose your
keyword carefully: Once you have a list of relevant keywords, it’s time to
choose the right one. There are a few factors you need to consider when
choosing a keyword:
Search volume: The first thing you want
to look at is the search volume. This is the number of people who are searching
for a particular keyword. The higher the search volume, the better.
Competition: The next thing you want to look at is the competition. This is how
many other websites are trying to rank for the same keyword. The lower the
competition, the better. You can use Google Keyword Planner to check both
search volume and competition. Just enter your keyword into the “Keyword Ideas”
tab and scroll down to the “Competition” column.
2. Use Keywords
Strategically:
Once you have your list of keywords,
it’s time to use them in your content. But don’t stuff your keywords in your
content. That will not only make your content unreadable, but it will also get
you penalized by Google. Use your keywords strategically in the following
places:
- ·
-Title
- · -Headings
and subheadings
- · -Introductory
sentence
- · -Concluding
paragraph
- · -Anchor
text (text you hyperlink to other related pages on your blog)
- ·
-Title tags and meta descriptions
In addition to using your keywords
throughout your content, you also want to make sure that your content is
interesting, informative, and engaging. No one wants to read a boring blog
post, no matter how well it’s optimized for search engines. So write content
that appeals to your target audience and provides them with value if you face
hurdles while writing this type of content then utilize any best content writing services.
3. Write For Your Audience First:
The first and foremost thing you need to do is to write for
your audience. Write content that is interesting and useful for them. Don’t
write for the sake of search engines. If you write good content, search engines
will automatically rank your content higher in their results pages, as they
want to give their users the best possible experience.
4. Use Internal Links:
Internal links are links that point to
other pages on your blog. They help search engines crawl your site and can also
help improve your SEO. When you’re writing a blog post, try to include 2-3
internal links to other related posts on your blog. This will not only help
improve your SEO, but it will also keep readers on your site longer, which can
lead to more page views, and ultimately, more revenue.
To find internal links, just do a
search on your site for some of your target keywords. For example, if you’re
writing a post about SEO tips, you could do a search for “SEO tips” on your
site and see if any old blog posts come up. If they do, simply add a link to
the new post in the old one.
Not only will this help improve your
SEO, but it will also show your readers that you’re always updating your blog
with new and relevant information, which will keep them coming back for more.

for at least 1000 words per article. But don’t make your articles too long just
