Do not create a link to a low-quality website whose spam score is high, such a website can reduce the ranking of your site/blog.

On-Page SEO helps to bring the website to Google's first page. You get many benefits by doing on-page optimization of the website/blog. You have to write SEO-friendly articles. To get on the first page of the Google search results, you have to write your article keeping in mind all these quality unique, and original content, low competition keywords, and high volume keywords.

Meta Titles

When you have selected a good keyword for your blog post, but it is of no use until when you convert that keyword into a good title. The title of any post is very important to increase the ranking. You should keep your post title from 40 to 70 characters. If your title is more than 70 characters then your extra will hide in the Google Search.

Use Keywords

As we know, the Keyword plays a very important role to increase website traffic because without it the post will never be ranked in the Google search results. In any search engine, if someone searches for the keyword and that keyword is in your post article, then the search engines will display it on the first page.

You cannot use a keyword of more than 2.5% to 3% which means you cannot repeat the keyword more than 15 - 20 times in 1000 words article or else the keyword will be stuffed which is against the SEO policy.

The keyword you have used while writing a post on your blog is to add the same keyword on your post permalink (URL) and select only the custom permalink. 

Meta Description

We have to write a meta description for each blog post because it plays a very important role in better visibility in the SERP (Search Engine Result Pages). Must use the target keyword in the meta description.

The meta description should be 140 to 170 words (960 px), if it is more than then its extra words will not display on the search results.  Every page of the website or blog should have unique meta descriptions. 

Header Tags

This is very important to use header tags while writing a post because the page looks correctly categorized by it and helps the crawler to easily rank your website. In WordPress, we have the option to use – h1, h2, and h3 tags, and For Blogger websites – heading, subheading, and minor heading tags. 

If we don’t use such tags in our blog articles then, the article will not rank in google searches. Most of the new blogger makes such mistakes that they use the heading repeatedly. You should use only one h1 tag in a single post. With which you can get good organic traffic from the search engine.

Image Alt Tags 

Images also help in getting the post rank. We have created a good image in our blog article. It is very important to have images for on-page SEO. If you have put a useless image in your blog post then, it has a chance to down your website rank. So, I would like to suggest you don’t use such images in your blog post and add relevant images where it is there.

Before using an image on the blog post it should be well optimized because it directly helps to reduce the loading time of the website and the user will also like it while reading the article.

Adding the target keywords in the image alt tag. If you use targeted keywords in your post, then you can make your post more SEO-friendly. Don’t try to use copyrighted images on your website. There are several websites are available on the Internet which provide free copyrighted images or videos.

Add External and Internal Link

You have published more posts related to whatever articles you have written on your website, you have to add a link to your other post in all of them. In this way, the ranking of your website will increase in the search engine results as well as increase the pageview of your website.

External Link 

The external link means adding a link from another website to your blog article. For example, if you are writing an article about Facebook, in which you give a link to the official website of Facebook. In this way, the ranking of your blog post will increase in the google search engine and SEO quality is also increasing. Don’t give a link to those whose spam score is high, adults, or gaming that reduce the ranking of your website.

Internal Link

Internal link refers to whenever you give a link to another post on your website. Remember that you have to give the same link related to your writing post. You have to publish more posts in that category as if you are writing an article about SEO. On SEO you have also written another post and then add your own link to it.

Anchor Text

Anchor text is the hypertext that helps the visitors to move from one post to another bog of the website. In simple words, the external and internal link that is used in posts is known as Anchor text. But, it becomes better only when it follows the policy of Google search engine.

You need to pay attention to the speed of your website because the Google crawler keeps checking the loading speed or loading time of every website. There are multiple templates available on the internet which is completely free and their loading speed is very good.

Website Checker Tool helps to check website speed. One thing always remembers is that the loading time of any website is between 3 to 5 seconds. So, you have to reduce the loading time of your blog/website for getting more traffic to your post.

In modern times, every person has a mobile phone and all of them use the internet from their mobile. So, you have to make your post and your website should be mobile-friendly. You will benefit from doing all this and your blog will get more traffic from mobile phones.
